The 7000 year old town Hallstatt is often described as the pearl of the mountains and lake district. Millions of pictures of the town’s unique skyline with its romantic small alleys and woody buildings have been taken. The UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site for many times has served as film location and was even replicated by the Chinese.
Our unique tour starts in Salzburg and very soon passes the castle “Schloss Fuschl” high above the mystic Lake Fuschl (2) . Soon after there will be stop at a viewpoint near St. Gilgen (3) where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the azure-blue Lake Wolfgang and its surrounding mountain peaks. Next stop is Hallstatt (4) . It seems time has stood still stood over the last centuries. Discover the secrets of the town and look for your personal photo spot in one of the most instagramable places on earth. A Skywalk (5) – The „World Heritage View“ – floats freely in almost 360 meters above ground and offers a unique view. On the way back we will discover Lake Wolfgang (6) by a boat which is operated by a company founded by the emperor himself. The boat heads to the Mozart Town ST. GILGEN and passes the world famous hotel „Weisses Rössl“.
